Institute for Humane Studies: Public Policy

Scholarship Description
The James A. Hudson Excellence in Teaching Scholarship is available through the University of Central Missouri Foundation for a graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Education Degree in elementary education, secondary education or reading or another academic discipline. This scholarship is made possible by way of a gift from James and Delores Hudson of Warrensburg, Missouri. To apply, a student must: a. be a graduate student in good academic standing at UCM; b. be actively pursuing a Master of Science in Education Degree in either elementary education, secondary education or reading; individuals pursuing a Master of Science in Education Degree within an academic discipline are eligible; c. have an approved master’s program of study within the Department Elementary and Early Childhood Education or Department of Educational Foundations and Literacy; d. have earned the Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from UCM; e. demonstrate good character, leadership and service.
