Chap and Eve Alvord Scholarship

Scholarship Description
Applicant must be a student in the School of Journalism and Mass Communications. This is a one-year, non-renewable scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to a junior, senior, or graduate student who intends to pursue a career in writing, either as a journalist, author, or otherwise. This memorial scholarship was established by the family of Mr. Ramsaur, who for many years was a key executive with the Greenville News and Greenville Piedmont (South Carolina) and Multimedia, Inc.
