Althea Steele Lederer Scholarship

Scholarship Description
This scholarship, made possible by gifts to Grace Chapel, an Episcopal Mission in the Rossview Community, is awarded in the amount of $1,000. Juniors, seniors, and transfer students majoring in the traditional liberal arts disciplines (arts, humanities, natural sciences, social sciences) are eligible. Acceptable applications will include a personal letter on the applicant's background and aspirations, a recent academic transcript, and a letter of recommendation from a teacher or other person familiar with the applicants academic performance and promise. Completed applications should be sent to: Marshall Family Scholarship Committee, c/o Richard P. Gildrie, Department of History and Philosophy, P. O. Box 4486, Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, TN 37044. Applications should be received by March 10 and notifications will be sent to applicants by April 15. Telephone (931) 221-7932.
